WHY DID I WRITE THE BOOK?

Not many people know I’m diabetic. I’ve always kept it to myself bar the odd occasion when I’ve been asked to share my experiences on a fitness podcast or when another diabetic has approached me for advice.
I never wanted sympathy or unnecessary attention because I suffer from an autoimmune disease. It was my way of coping. After all, why would I want to be reminded I had a disease and was more likely to die younger than most people?

But now I’ve decided to take the plunge and put my condition to good use.

I’ve lost count of the number of requests I’ve had over the years to write about fat loss and muscle building strategies for people with diabetes. So I am writing this in the hope that my knowledge and experience of living with diabetes, dealing with it and basically giving it the two fingers will help you, your loved ones or clients overcome it.

This book is a complete summary of everything I know about rapid body redesign in the diabetic body. I’ve spent years striving for mastery of this subject. All the diet, training and mindset strategies are based on real life experience, countless hours of trial and error and evidence-based study.

I have considered current diabetic research, highlighting key findings, scrutinized particular research methods (bad science does exist) and made valid suggestions for future research. None of the studies I’ve used to back up my claims have been cherry-picked.

Every aspect of diabetes I talk about is grounded on real life experience, countless hours of trial and error and evidence-based study.
