How To Stop PT Clients Zapping Your Energy

At some point in your career, you’ll have taken on clients that you know aren’t a good fit.

Maybe at the time, you were just starting out and you wanted to look busy or you were tight on cash and needed to generate some emergency funds.

Regardless, it soon becomes clear that you and the client aren’t a good fit, your frustration builds and you secretly want them to leave.

I don’t need to tell you, but, this is no way to run a business. It’s not sustainable, and the worst thing is you’ll develop a deep resent for the very business you thought was going to bring you happiness.

Don’t get me wrong, there are some pros to having bad apples in your coaching business. When you first start out you may need to work your way through a number of ‘wrong fits’ in order to find the ‘right fits’.

Clients who aren’t the right fit for your business can teach you important things about what you need to improve and clarify with your marketing message and onboarding systems.

Anyhow, I want to share with you a very simple framework that will help you select high-quality clients. It involves three questions you need to ask yourself before taking on any new client.

Here they are…

  1. Can you help them solve their biggest problem?
  2. Can they afford you?
  3. Do you like them?

You know you’ve found your A-grade clients when you have a yes to every answer. Those are the clients you want to build your business on. You’ll help them get great results which will turn into incredible social proof and referrals, you’ll get on well with them and they’ll pay you on time!

What else could you ask for?

You play a big role in your clients’ lives. They deserve you at your best.

This simple framework will have a dramatic effect on your business. Start applying it immediately.
